Tuckshop

The Montville State School P&C run the school tuckshop by providing food for students and staff at first break every Thursday.

The tuckshop is run by volunteers and all proceeds go to the Montville State School P&C.

Our menu is simple and offers a range of snacks, homemade meals as well as seasonal smoothie and some treat options.   We change the menu a little each term bases on student feedback and surveys via the adminstration staff.

Online orders close 10:00am Wednesday and be placed using the Flexischools app (available via the app store).

Paper order forms for cash orders only can be arranged if needed via admin office staff.

The tuckshop team is co-ordinated by Emma Secomb and would appreciate to hear any feedback from parents or students.

Opting to donate via our "pay it forward item" on the menu allows the P&C to send funds to the eWallets of students who may need financial assistance.  No-one should miss out on mini pies or ham and cheese toasties!

Homebaking

Montville State School has a wonderful reputation for providing delicious home baking for our kids to purchase from 50c to $2.00 after Friday parades.

Each week, a different class is encouraged to make something at home, little muffins, a slice, a cake and bring it into the tuckshop Friday morning.  Keep an eye out on the chalkboard, school website and messages home (newsletter, text or email) for the home baking class roster.

Please remember to keep homebaking goodies in-line with the Healthy Choices Strategy which can be found at the tuckshop or the office. Any baking outside the guidelines will be happily served at afternoon tea straight after parade.  We ask that you also minimise the use of artificial colours, flavours, preservatives sugars.

Parents will receive reminders via Flexischools when it's their child's class turn to bake and serve afternoon tea.  This is a great way to meet some new friends in the school community.

Parent Volunteer Tuckshop Roster

Our school tuckshop is run on the gracious support of our parent volunteers – Mums, Dads, Grandmas, Granddads, Aunties, Uncles, etc. are all welcome!   Volunteers help setup, make smoothies, serve the food and smoothie orders to the children and do a bit of cleaning up at the end.

Tuckshop is a great way for parents to get to know other parents from different year levels and for you to see what goes on at first break.  Your children really love seeing you helping out in the tuckshop!

If you have any further questions, please contact our P&C by emailing the P&C at pandc@montvilless.eq.edu.au
