Montville State School is situated high in the Blackall Ranges, in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland in the Main Street of Montville village. The school was founded in 1896.
The school facade reflects its heritage past. The teaching amenities include three modern, air conditioned double classrooms and a single purpose-designed early childhood classroom as well as facilities in the main administration block.
The school also has use of the adjacent, historical Razorback House. The school’s design reflects the demands of the local climate, providing large undercover play and activity areas. Many large trees are located within the school grounds, providing shade and shelter for the students.
